Our Mission
LACES (Leadership, Achievement, Character, Education through Sports) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing holistic support and development opportunities for youth ages 6 to 18 across the Washington Metropolitan area (District, Maryland and Virginia). Our mission is to empower students—particularly those navigating academic or personal challenges—by fostering leadership, character, and life skills through structured, sports-centered programming.
At LACES, we believe in the power of community and collaboration. We work in partnership with local school districts, youth athletic programs, community-based organizations, and faith-based institutions to create inclusive, impactful experiences for elementary, middle, and high school students.
